Brookside Resort by FairBridge is a beloved fixture in the popular mountain resort town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Nested in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, this independent, family-owned resort has welcomed generations of guests in pursuit of family-fun and outdoor recreation.

Existing Software Limitations

In 2013, Brookside was frustrated with the antiquated, desktop based system they were using. Denise, the CEO of Brookside Hospitality, Inc. reached out to FairCloud and invited the FairCloud team to the resort to present a product demo and an in-person assessment of current practices and future Property Management System needs. During this meeting FairCloud evaluated the existing software and suggested features that were needed to make Brookside successful and meet future growth targets. Brookside needed a platform that would connect to all channels, providing live synched inventory and mirroring rates and promotions for all channels; maintaining parity.

FairCloud Proposed Solution

After the property evaluation FairCloud team suggested an in-depth training of the FairCloud platform and emphasized the need for Revenue Management and Yield Management tools provided in the FairCloud platform. The Brookside Resort needed a pure cloud-based system that is dynamic and could evolve and change as the market changed.  The FairCloud platform had all the features that were required by Brookside Resort.

The FairCloud Success

Over the years Brookside Resort has worked closely with FairCloud and has acted as a catalyst for innovations within FairCloud Platform. Faircloud has provided close to 99.99% up time which far exceeds industry standards. The Brookside Resort has increased its’ revenue by half a million dollars annually since April 2013. Every channel has seen a significant improvement in production utilizing the FairCloud system. The Brookside Resort has also improved it’s TripAdvisor ratings using FairCloud online presence management features. Denise is proud that she made the right decision in 2013 and believes that FairCloud has far exceeded her expectations.
