In today’s digital marketplace, managing your online reputation is essential. The information that appears about your business online is what stands between all your marketing efforts and increased revenue. 87% of consumers said that a favourable online review confirmed their purchase decision, and one more star in a business’ online rating can create up to 9% increase in revenue. This session will focus on how to implement an ORM program to align online reputation with actual customer satisfaction, improve services delivered and increase revenues using a holistic approach of online reputation for restaurants, pubs, bars, coffee shops and hotels.

Apps and the cloud have become pervasive in our new digital world yet many restaurants have struggled to move beyond using email to get data out to and back from their restaurants and teams. In this seminar you will learn how to fully harness today’s technology to put business information in the pockets of your team, to keep documents and information in Restaurants up-to-date, and to instantly capture and collate files, photos, restaurant assessments, food quality reviews and data from all your locations.
14.45 - 15.15
While most small and medium sized restaurants in the UK and Ireland are using modern EPoS sytems and card processing terminals, the vast majority have failed to take advantage of the opportunity to connect the two systems. Connecting the EPoS and payment systems, known as Integrated Payments, creates significant benefits for restaurant operators and patrons by enabling the bill to be printed and split at the table, transaction amounts auto-populated by the EPoS system to match the bill, payment accepted, and transaction reporting reconciling between EPoS and payment system; all while eliminating multiple trips to and from the EPoS till. In this seminar, attendees will learn more about this evolution in restaurant payments, how it can improve their businesses, and how to obtain the solution from their EPoS and payments providers.
15.30 - 16.00
